Onboarding

Five steps from "I want a storefront" to "I'm live and accepting payments." Plan on about 30 minutes — most of which is waiting on Stripe verification.

Step 1 — Apply for a storefront

Email the SlabTrack operator at redheadsportscards11@gmail.com with:

The operator reviews and creates your Storefront row in the database. You'll get back an email with your dashboard URL: storefront.slabtrack.io/dashboard/[your-slug].

Step 2 — Sign in

SlabTrack uses passwordless email login via the parent platform. Visit your dashboard URL → it redirects to slabtrack.io/login → you get a one-time code emailed → that signs you in across the ecosystem.

💡 Same login everywhere

Your one SlabTrack login works on your storefront dashboard, ToT (if you opt into games), and the main slabtrack.io collection app. The shared JWT means you don't manage three sets of credentials.

Step 3 — Connect Stripe (most time-consuming)

From your dashboard, click Connect Stripe. This opens Stripe's Express onboarding flow. You'll need:

Stripe processes verification automatically — usually instant, sometimes overnight. You'll see a green Stripe Connected badge on your dashboard when ready.

⚠ You CAN list before Stripe verifies

You can populate your storefront with cards while Stripe is still verifying your account, but you cannot accept orders until it's green. Customers hitting checkout before then will see "This shop isn't accepting orders yet."

Step 4 — Fill in ship-from address

Dashboard → Settings → Shipping Origin. Enter the address Shippo will print as the return address on every label:

This address appears on every label generated for your orders. If you ship from multiple locations, set this to the primary one.

Step 5 — Pick a theme

Dashboard → Theme Studio. Pick a preset to start (all 9 documented in detail here). Most sellers either:

You can change this anytime — the live preview shows what the public storefront looks like before you save.

You're live

Visit storefront.slabtrack.io/[your-slug] in an incognito window. You should see your themed storefront. If you've listed cards, customers can buy them. The first sale is usually the most exciting — when the webhook fires and the order appears in your dashboard, you'll know everything is wired correctly.
